Mumbai: After a long break of lockdown due to COVID19, Aamir Khan is back on sets. The actor has flown down to Turkey to resume the shooting of his film ‘#LaalSinghChaddha’. The movie, also featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead role, was slated to release on Chirstmas 2020. To keep up to schedule, Khan is back to work.
Images of Aamir Khan from the airport there are now out. He was seen posing with the staff at the airport and the hotel, with and without the mask. Rather than a pillow, Aamir Khan seen with what looks like an airbag this time. It appeared that the actor was also greeted with a bouqet of flowers.
‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is the official Hindi remake of Tom Hanks’ film ‘Forrest Gump’. Aamir Khan had announced the movie on his birthday in 2019. ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ also features Vijay Sethupathi and Mona Singh in pivotal roles.
The film was also shot in Chandigarh. In fact, the Mahurat shot took place in Punjab. Aamir has also shot the film in Kolkata, Kerala, Jaisalmer, Goa and Himachal Pradesh. The schedule in India was completed on February 12, 2020.
Aamir Khan is the second celebrity who has flown down to a foreign location. Recently, Akshay Kumar had also left for UK schedule of his movie ‘BellBottom’ with the team, including Lara Dutta Bhupathi and Huma Qureshi. Producers Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh were also seen at the airport. Vaani Kapoor is the female lead of the movie.
